If only I could rate this place lower than one star. The staff have the personality of a sandpaper and it seems to reflect on a couple of their regular guests, don't even get me started on how their services are so subpar. Definitely look elsewhere if you want to experience a better cafe.

I've been to two places, Maidreaming next door and Holic Holic here, and this place is much better. The prices are relatively affordable, and above all, the maids feel a bit like bartenders. They consistently strike up conversations with customers and chat in a friendly manner. Even beginner-level Japanese is sufficient. In contrast, at Maidreaming next door... while you can get the kind of cutesy service you see on YouTube, they only do what is strictly prescribed and tend not to pay attention to the customers otherwise. There were some customers who came expecting something, but most of us, including myself, just spaced out. It is a bit inconvenient because there are customers smoking indoors, but putting that aside, I really liked the feeling that the maids treat customers kindly so they don't get bored. If I come to Osaka again and want to have a pleasant chat with a cute Japanese woman in a maid outfit, I will definitely come here. Highly recommended.

I used the place for about an hour. Two drinks and one song with a maid cost a little over 2000 yen. The clientele was mostly young people. Despite calling itself a karaoke cafe, the prices are rather high at 300-600 yen per song, so it's probably more accurate to think of it as a maid cafe with karaoke as an added bonus, rather than a place to enjoy karaoke on its own. It's surprising that singing a duet is cheaper than singing alone, but it seems to be a way to enhance the concept. You might need some skill to initiate conversation yourself.

While sightseeing in Osaka with three friends, we were approached by a staff member handing out flyers in front of the shop and decided to go in. Since we live far away, we honestly explained that we weren't sure if we'd be able to come again, and we only stayed for an hour. However, the two staff members who served us (Kokoro and Aki) were both very friendly, and we had a great time chatting and singing a few karaoke songs. We definitely want to stop by again when we're in Osaka.

I went there alone for the first time on a business trip. The price varies depending on the time of day, but if you enter before 11pm, you only pay the cover charge plus what you drink, so you can enjoy yourself on a fairly low budget. The girls don't push for drinks, so you can just go at your own pace. However, just sitting there in silence won't be enough; you'll need to have at least the basic communication skills to strike up a conversation with the girls, so you'll want to be patient.
