Wow, best matcha experience me and my friend ever had. Ordered the iced gyokuro, hojicha latte and the chestnut wagashi. The gyokuro was super umami, and maintained it's flavour profile after asking for 2 refills of just cold water. The latte was really earthy and well-balanced, really lovely. The wagashi complemented the drinks well, it was earthy, and had a nice roasted flavour. On-top of that, the staff was super friendly! Also they stock Takayama chasens here as well. Would return again on my next trip!
Best gyokuro I’ve ever had, super flavorful umami bomb! The matcha warabimochi and sencha tasting were both amazing, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Service was incredible and I had a wonderful, peaceful time here. I would come here everyday if I lived here!
Amazing tea tasting experience here. I started with the iced matcha latte and matcha warabimochi. Then I tried the gyokuro 3 ways (hottest, hot, iced). I learned a lot e.g. about matcha making process vs. gyokuro. It has a very zen ambiance. Server was super friendly and helpful (I’m a non-Japanese speaker). Highly recommend, they specialize in warabimochi and gyokuro tea here.
It was our friend time at a tea house and everything was great. Our waitress was friendly and helpful; she explained the menu and gave recommendations . We ordered the iced matcha latte, gyokuro and matcha warabimochi for the kids— which they loved!! A definite must try!
