  Kopimal Coffee became my "home base" during a 12-day stay in Osaka, and I can’t recommend it enough. THE FOOD: Their breakfast set with Onigiri and Kasujiru (sake-lees soup) is incredible. They use sake kasu from the Umenoyado Brewery, and it is the ultimate soul-warming meal. If you’ve spent the previous evening exploring Osaka’s many "tachinomi" (standing bars), this is the perfect way to reset your system. They also have a great selection of bottled beers for later in the day. THE VIBE: The interior is very cool and stylish. There’s an eclectic sofa area that’s perfect for relaxing, and a beautiful bar section with warm wooden details. There is also a second floor and some outdoor seating if the weather is nice. THE SERVICE: The Master is incredibly kind and welcoming. He shared so many great "insider" tips about local places to eat and drink in the area, which really made my trip special. While it might not be the cheapest place in Japan, the quality of the food, the service, and the wonderful atmosphere make it worth every yen. A true gem in the Namba/Nipponbashi area!

  Easily the best coffee I have ever tried in a coffee shop. Perfect flavor, with no negative notes. Cheese cake was top notch, loved every bite. The staff is absolutely the loveliest out there. Very thoughtful and personable. I am extremely lucky I stumbled upon this place and will definitely come back when opportunity hits!

  Very happy I found this little cafe! Super friendly staff who we had some nice conversations with. We ended up here at the end of the day and had the hashed beef rice for dinner, which was super tasty. The vibes in this little place are super chill and perfect to escape the crowds. Would definitely come back here!

  Kopimal Coffee is truly a hidden gem. Every item on the menu tastes amazing—well-balanced flavors, thoughtfully prepared, and consistently satisfying. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into each dish and drink. Nothing feels rushed or ordinary; everything feels intentional. A great place to enjoy good food, good coffee, and a comforting atmosphere. Definitely worth coming back again and again.

  Such a cute place! The service was impeccable. We had the lemon coffee, a drip coffee, and the coffee jelly, everything was amazing. They also treated us to their rosemary plum soda, which was absolutely delicious. We loved everything about this café and highly recommend it. Arigato gozaimasu from California!
