I was looking for a good western breakfast in Namba and came across this little gem. The place is cosy and lovely. We did a walk in and have to wait for nearly 30 minutes to get a table. Food is delicious, good combinations and well presented. Friendly staff with smiles. Being a coffee lover, I loved my long black. It was a smooth one and tastes yum. My son loved his hot chocolate and his chocolate banana pan cake with cream. The whole experience was worth the wait.

Maze Café was a wonderful breakfast spot in Namba! The food was absolutely delicious. The French toast was incredibly fluffy, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The salad was a pleasant surprise for breakfast and added a fresh, delicious touch to the meal. The matcha lattes were just as impressive as the food. The latte art was spectacular—I got a seahorse design, and my daughter received a unicorn. Such a fun and memorable detail! Great food, beautiful presentation, and a lovely experience overall.

The best breakfast I’ve had in Osaka so far. It is a very small space, so depending on the time you come you will have to wait outside. We waited outside for about 15 mins prior to being seated. There is a wait list that you can put your name on. No one comes out to tell you to put your name on the list so just to be safe do it. When you are ready to order your food you have to go to the counter to order and pay right away. The food was so goood! I ordered off the seasonal menu, strawberry open sandwich with a matcha beet latte. I didn’t care for the side salad but the sandwich was so good. The matcha beet latte was not sweet and you could not taste the bitter beet which was a nice touch. My husband ordered bacon and egg French toast. This was the first time we had proper bacon and it was the perfect crisp. The French toast was fluffy. He also got the Carmel latte- he personally wishes it was sweeter but to each their own. Food came out in about 10 mins it was not much of a wait. Over all the food was great just wish there was better customer service to tie it all together for an overall experience.

Maze is a small brunch spot in Namba that manages its space really well despite its size. They have a simple and effective self-service waiting list system outside, which helps keep things organised even during busy periods. We visited during peak brunch hours and were still seated and served relatively quickly, which was impressive given how popular it was. The food itself was excellent—both in taste and quality, clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The drinks were also a highlight, being fresh and genuinely enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great brunch option in Namba if you’re looking for quality food in a compact but well-run space.

The coffee is AHMAZING strong and smooth Breakfast was great too! Service is spot on Atmosphere only 3 stars because when we walked in, it smelled abit off It smelled like either the grease trap or the sewage was being pumped out. Not great But we needed our coffee fix and I don’t like walking out after sitting down
