Okonomiyaki & Teppanyaki Tougi

Excellent okonomiyaki, right by the station. We came here on a weeknight and the place was almost empty – don’t let that fool you. The food was outstanding: the pork & squid okonomiyaki was fluffy and full of flavour, the shrimp yakisoba had a proper smoky crispness. Real Osaka style, no gimmicks. The staff were kind and genuinely helpful, patient with our questions, English menu available. What we loved most is the atmosphere: it feels like Osaka from the early 2000s, a bit worn, warm, unpretentious – vintage in the best sense of the word. If you want honest, delicious okonomiyaki cooked by people who care, come here.

First time trying okonomiyaki and this place did not disappoint at all, it was so delicious, wish my belly could fit more food in it, it was really filling, we shared 3 different okonomiyaki between us. It came with rice and miso soup which made it even more filling but a nice way to warm us up for the mains. So rich in flavour and yummy, would definitely recommend anyone to eat okonomiyaki here! Staff were really friendly and this place was well worth the money, wasn’t expensive at all and would say it’s on the cheaper side.

Very nice place for eating okonomiyaki in Osaka, located very close to Nipponbashi. Service was quick and efficient, and an English menu is available. All ingredients were fresh, and the overall quality was good. Prices were fair as well.

We enjoyed dinner here in Osaka. It was my first time trying okonomiyaki and it did not disappoint. The yakisoba and other dishes were also very good. Pairs well with some asahi draft beer. The prices were very reasonable too. Definitely recommend.

Went a little late in the evening. Got the last available table for 4. Excellent okonomiyaki and seafood stir fry. You can use QR code to order, which made it easier for us. Will be back again.
