Among the finest Tonkotsu Ramen I have experienced in Japan, this establishment delivers a well-balanced and refined bowl. The Tonkotsu broth is rich and deeply flavorful without being overly heavy or dominated by an intense porkiness. The level of fat is thoughtfully calibrated—while I typically prefer a richer, more indulgent style, the broth here achieves a creamy texture without becoming too greasy. The noodles are cooked to an ideal consistency, striking a precise balance between firmness and softness. Additionally, the spices complement the broth harmoniously, enhancing its depth without overpowering its natural flavors.
We ordered their special black tonkotsu ramen, the classic tonkotsu ramen and added on a char siu pork rice bowl set which came to 2330 ¥. The tonkotsu broth was rich, creamy, and packed with umami, while the char siu was tender and flavorful. The ramen itself was cooked perfectly al dente, tying everything together into a satisfying and comforting meal. The workers were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it made for a truly memorable and satisfying first meal here in Osaka.
