Tried the matcha latte at Shiki Japanese Tea and really enjoyed it. The matcha flavor tasted authentic, rich, and not overly sweet. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, perfect for relaxing for a while. Staff were also friendly and welcoming. Definitely a nice spot for matcha lovers!
Dare I say one of the best matchas I’ve ever had! I got the matcha01 latte and I still dream about it. It is pricey esp considering the portion size so I was a bit hesitant but it was so worth it in my opinion. They didn’t add any sweetener or anything but it still had the perfect amount of sweetness and bitterness that I like; I was so impressed. The staff are so kind, and when I’m back in Osaka I will definitely be revisiting again!
Very good experience at this shop. My family and I ordered two different ice creams and a matcha latte. All three were very pleasant and it was nice to have such a big range of matcha to choose from with clear explanations of each. We found that the portions of ice cream were generous and the texture was nice and smooth which was a very nice. Overall very good experience and we would recommend this shop! 🙂 Very accommodating to foreigners as well.
Great matcha and friendly staff, I had a very pleasant conversation with one of the staff about the different matcha grades available and she (and another barista) mixed me three samples so I could compare them. Also got a tasty and refreshing iced matcha lemon soda on my way out. I don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews but felt I had to with how helpful and friendly they were!
Absolutely amazing tea shop! We were welcomed so warmly and even got to try different teas, which made the whole experience really special. The green tea and especially the matcha are honestly the best I’ve ever had. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the owner was also very kind and took the time to talk to us. You really feel welcomed and taken care of here. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good tea. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🍵
